Gentle Strength for Life

These extra-small group sessions (2-4 people) are for individuals who need more one-on-one support to improve overall strength and balance to maintain or restore an independent and active lifestyleIf you have difficulty getting up and down from the floor independently or feel unsteady performing daily activities, this evidence-based program can help you reduce your risk of falls and build confidence and stability in and out of the gym.

Before you join a semi-private group, we will have at least two one-on-one sessions to assess your needs and make sure this will be a good fit. Contact me to schedule a free initial consultation.

Invitation to Move

Going to a typical commercial gym can feel cold and intimidating. Whitney of WoWW and I wanted to provide a more welcoming space to try out new movements and have access to a full gym of equipment. You can engage with our movement 'invitations' or choose your own. Either way, this is a judgment-free space to move.

This hour will include:

  • An optional group warm-up at 3:30.

  • Demonstrations of 4-5 movements you are invited to do on your own during the hour.

  • Opportunities to consult with Anne or Whitney to learn to use new equipment, provide form feedback, or answer any fitness-related questions.

  • Low-key opportunities to meet other participants if you want to.

  • Good music, great vibes :)

Where: The F.I.T. Lab

When: Every  Sunday from September 29th through December 15th from 3:30-4:30 pm.

Cost: $120 for all 12 weeks, $50 for one month, or $20 per drop-in
